Bridging the gap between SMEs and real users through asynchronous usability testing.
About RUUT Platform
RUUT (Remote Unmoderated Usability
Testing) was developed as a final year
academic project for the BSc Computer
Science programme at Manchester
Metropolitan University. The goal is to
provide a cost-effective, scalable, and
ethically secure alternative to
traditional lab-based usability testing.
By leveraging a microservices
architecture and asynchronous video
processing, we eliminate the scheduling
conflicts and high costs associated with
live moderation, while strictly adhering
to UK GDPR standards for data
protection.
